Glass Laboratory Grade Dewars

All Pope Glass Laboratory Grade Dewars are manufactured of borosilicate glass for liquid nitrogen service. A sturdy mesh cover provides a solid grip, with a cushion against bumping. All Wide Mouth cylindirical models can be obtained with a full-length exterior aluminum metal housing that extends nearly to the top rim of the Dewar. This housing adds the safety of metal to the efficiency of glass. This is particularly important in handling operations.

Lab Grade Dewars with a narrow mouth are ideal for temporary storage or for room-to-room transfer. This is not for DOT/Vehicle transfer. Standard features include a low evaporation cork stopper, fully shielded evacuation tip, weighted bases and partial aluminum base. These Dewars are perfect for transport of liquid nitrogen. Dewars with Handles are similar to the Lab Grade Dewars with the added benefits of a metal handle and full aluminum exterior shielding.
