Aids to navigation buoys are special structure floating buoys that are used to enhance sailing safety in channel and water areas.

These lights and marks are stipulated across the world by the International Association of Lighthouse Authorities (IALA). All marks within the IALA system are distinguished by: Shape, Colour, Topmark and Light.
